TVO Media Education Group

At Ontario’s largest public broadcaster TVO, Vicky manages the digital marketing and brand strategy. TVO reaches more than 15 million Ontarians, serving almost 40% of Canada’s English speaking population.

Vicky works across four sub-brands including TVO kids, TVO ILC, TVO Today documentaries and podcasts and TVO Learn, a partner with the Government of Ontario’s Ministry of Education. Notably, she successfully launched The Thread, an audience-led social media journalism project, informed by Artificial Intelligence technology Polly ASI.

At TVO, Vicky implements the digital-first strategic plan by increasing brand relevance for Canadians aged 25-45 years old. This includes a robust content strategy and targeted channel offerings through Instagram and YouTube. TVO The Thread’s social channels reached over 1.4 M users and over 20K organic engagements in the first six months.
